Who We Are
The Network Planning and Development Department (NPDD) is one of several groups under the Network Division of Digital Telecommunications Philippines, Inc. (DIGITEL).
Our main responsibility is to chart the direction of DIGITEL's telecommunications infrastructure by definining the overall framework within which planning of Data and PSTN networks and subnetworks must conform.
The other functions of the team are as follows:
- Prepare technical and economic feasibility studies for proposed Data and PSTN expansion programs and other special projects.
- Develop studies covering all aspects of the network in order to produce a coherent strategy for the future.
- Preparing reliable traffic and facility forecasts for local, domestic and international networks.
Introduce and/or integrate new technologies and services to the network. - Continuously evaluate the performance of the existing network for purposes of optimizing operational efficiency, improving quality of service and, maximizing revenue potentials.
